School Advisory Council

School Advisory Councils play an important advisory role in the governance of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, providing a forum for consultation and community participation. They support the parish priest and principal in leading the school’s mission, guided by mutual respect, collaboration and the shared values of our Catholic faith.

Our School Advisory Council (SAC) provides valuable feedback and recommendations that help guide the school’s direction and ensure we meet the needs of our families. This collaborative approach supports continuous reflection and improvement of our programs and initiatives.

Parents Association

At St Richard’s, our Parent Association (P.A.) is a welcoming group dedicated to building a strong, connected school community. Working in close partnership with the school, the P.A. coordinates events and fundraising initiatives that directly support our school’s infrastructure and enrich learning opportunities for all students.

Beyond fundraising, the P.A. is a wonderful way to foster friendships among families and make a positive difference in our children's lives. We are always looking for new faces and fresh ideas! Whether you can attend meetings, lend a hand at an event, or share a new suggestion, your involvement is warmly welcomed.
